Greetings All, This video was supposed to be a rather straight up disassembly of a pretty universal Daisy product shot in the Restomod one continuous take style. The gun was quite recalcitrant however which dictated off camera measures being taken with the spring anchor. I'll do another video on just what you can do when your mainspring compression tool won't get the job done. This Model 94 also had a lot of really dried out oil in the compression chamber which did not want to let go of the compression cup. When the BB gun was cocked and fired you could see the rear of the plunger assembly headed towards the muzzle at inch worm speed, no wonder there was no apparent compression. Thanks for watching! Greetings All, One of the many great things about running a Daisy Mod channel is you get first hand looks at other modder efforts to improve the Daisy experience. This video takes a fumble fingered look at the 3D printed Red Ryder/Buck/Model 1999 speed loader device engineered and produced by Lucas Marsh way out there in Brush Prairie Washington to make loading your favorite current production Daisy a little less onerous. It should also work with most of the post 1978 "B" model Daisy's that feature the plastic trigger system and side loading port like the Model 95B and others. The gizmo works great and is moddable to work as well with other Models of older Daisy's that were also designed as top port feeders. Greetings All, While corresponding with a viewer who has received a nifty Daisy #111 Model 40 from his Grandpa the topic of getting the plunger assembly out of that old gun came up. He asked me if I had a video on how to do that and after checking, I discovered I did not. I have a few clips that skate up to the edge but none that covered the process. That is now corrected. Granted, this process works best if you have a basic tool set and access to a bench vise. The first time I took one apart was a comedy of errors complete with profuse swearing, several good sized nicks on my hands and shopping list of tools I either had to build or buy. Those days are long gone and the process now is simple in the extreme if you have a method to solidly mount the receiver and a simple to fabricate spring compressor.
